Our Dehradun plant has been designed in accordance with the exacting standards of LEED.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. LEED certification is recognized across the globe as the premier mark of achievement in green building. To receive LEED certification, building projects satisfy prerequisites and earn points to achieve different levels of certification. The number of points a project earns determines the level of LEED certification that the project will receive. Typical certification thresholds are:

WATER CONSERVATION MEASURES

Proper Water conservations measures were taken while construction so as to ensure minimal wastage.

PRE FABRICATED STEEL STRUCTURES

Pre-fabricated steel structures were used in the construction. The building was developed with minimum site disturbance and the materials were used by adopting design specification based on internal load requirements. Thus throughout the construction, optimal use of natural resources was ensured.

GEO THERMAL AIR VENTILATION SYSTEMS

The building designed with an air cool system. The unique design supply the conditioned air to the office building without energy requirement saving energy and reducing the GHG

Green Power for 100% utilization

WTG wind power generator at Tirunelveli (in Tamilnadu) equivalent to its projected 100 % utilization of power under its peak performance. Reduced burden of CO2 emission

The building is designed to use 90% daylight view and adequate measures are taken for day light harvesting in the factory areas thus leading to considerable savings energy.

Roof is insulated with insulated materials which acts as a good barrier for heat/ cold.

Reed-bed waste water treatment

Specially selected plants have been made to combine their aeration strength with highly efficient microbial cultures so as to treat waste water. The treated water is then reused forwatering the landscape gardens thus reducing fresh water requirements.

Turbo Ventilators

Installed in strategic locations to maintain the air circulation, the turbo vents works up the hot air from inside the building by natural convection. This roof-top wind driven ventilator is cost effective & runs without electricity.

Open Grid Pavement

The open grid pavement avoids overflow and is effective in rain water harvesting.

Environment Friendly low emission paints and sealants were used in the construction of the building.

Eco-friendly cleaning chemicals are used for routine cleaning requirements. This ensures minimal water pollution and impact on soil.

Water Saving Fixtures

The facility is fitted with water efficient gadgets that can save upto 70% water. Designed with preset flow and timer, the fixtures auto stop in 6 seconds.
